Product Introduction

Undoubtedly glass lined pipe plays an important role in the chemical piping system due to it's high anti-corrosion performance against various acids. Its smooth glass-lining surface can resist adhesion and is contamination-free to the final product, helps to reach a high level of purity. It's easy to clean and can easily stand working pressure up to 10 bars.

J.H. can supply you high quality glass lined pipe and fittings with sizes from DN25 to DN500 and customers can choose standard or non-standard models according to their specific demand. The glass lined pipe can be unjacketed or with a heat-transfer jacket, the pipe length can reach 3m in maximum.

J.H. uses seamless pipes with forged steel ends as base steel and adopting up-to-date glass-lined technology with different enamel as per requirement of customers. All J.H. glass lined pipes need to pass 20,000 volts spark test at factory.

Normally all our glass lined pipe are connected both ends by Forged & galvanized split flanges which is the basic design. However, we also provide pipe design with one end of split flange connnection while the other end fixed flange, or both ends fixed flanges. To reach a longer service life and reduce frequency of replacement, we usually recommend high performance non-asbestos PTFE enveloped gaskets with stainless steel corrugated insert to be used between flanges.

As to pipe flange connection standard, DIN PN10/16 and ASME B16.5 Class 150# are both available.

Working Principle

For purpose of anti-corrosion, basic materials can be different due to its chemical and physical property. Mostly used are glass-lind carbon steel, stainless steel or glass-lined stainless steel.

Connection can be split flanges on both sides, fixed flanges on both sides or one side fixed flange while split flange on the other side.
