Different from jacketed Standard Glass Lined Reactor, it has half pipe welded jacket which can helps to provide high velocity and high turbulence. The half pipe jacket also helps to provide strength to the vessel and it can standard much higher pressure than standard conventional jacket.
To reach variable purpose of heating or cooling, the half pipe jacket can be divided into different zones. Genearlly it's more difficult to make limpet coil glass lined reactor because existance of half pipe jacket will make the glass-lining process more complicated. To overcome the difficulty, J.H.Equipment has adopted up-to-date electric furnace and solved the glassing problem.

*Heating and cooling medium flow through pipe coils with high velocity and turbulence, so film coefficients and heat transfer rates are generally higher than in conventional jackets.

Working Principle
Pipe coil jacket can be a whole one section or be divided into tmultiple zones, to reach different functions. For example, two completely separated parallel circuits ( one for heating, one for cooling), allow use of incompatible heat transfer medium to avoid cross-contamination.
The Glass-lined Agitator rotates towards a fixed direction driven by the Motor & Gear Reducer. During the rotation, it drives materials to rotate radially or axially. Materials inside the reactor are in both axial and circular motion, generating several forms of mixing such as shearing, mixing and diffusion stirring. Thus the materials can be effectively rapidly stirred and mixed.
In most cases, during agitating process there will be pressure or vacuum applied inside vessel, thus Mechanical Seals for shalf sealing are quite necessary. We provide reliable single mechanical seals and double mechanical seals from famous brand to reach a perfect sealing.
For feeding materials into the reactor, Glass Lined Dip Pipes are available from short size to long one that can reach the vessel bottom as required by reaction process.
Heating or cooling liquids will be pumped into reactor jacket as the heat-exchange source. The purpose of heating and cooling is to provide suitable temperature for production(Max.220 degree C. for glass-lined reactors) to fulfill reacting requirement. Furthermore, cooling is used for decreasing the temperature so to pack finished materials.
Glass Lined Heat Exchangers ( plate type or shell & tube type) with glass lined distillation column system are typically mounted above glass lined reactor with a vacuum system, the purpose is to collect/reflux solvents which volatilize because of heating.
Heating system includes water heater, oil heater, boiler etc.
Cooling system includes water tank, cooling towers, chillers, etc.
